A disposal that hums but does not spin is jammed; one that is silent may have tripped its reset or lost power; one that leaks is often cracked or has a failed seal. We fix what can be fixed and install a new unit when the motor or housing has failed.

Angle stops under sinks and toilets, and the main shut-off at the house, seize up over the years. When you need to stop water in a hurry, a valve that will not turn makes a small leak a big one. We replace them with quarter-turn ball valves that work every time.
