Very long sewer laterals
A hundred-plus feet of old clay with dozens of joints. Hydro jetting and a camera find the trouble spots; lining can rehabilitate the whole run.
Cudahy is just south of Bell Gardens along Atlantic Avenue, and it is one of the closest cities to our shop. We serve the long narrow lots that make Cudahy unique, along with the apartment buildings that have grown up along Atlantic and Wilcox.
Cudahy's famously deep lots, laid out a century ago for small farms, mean sewer laterals that can run well over a hundred feet from the rear house to the street. Long runs with many joints are exactly where roots and offsets cause trouble. Many lots have several dwellings sharing that one lateral. The housing itself is largely pre-1960, with the original galvanized and clay pipe that comes with it.

Rear units and front houses sharing a line back up together. We clear from the right cleanout and can add access points.
Low pressure at the back house is often galvanized pipe plus a long run. Repipe with PEX restores flow.
Many heaters here are old and out of code. Same-day swap with proper strapping and venting.
